Starting school in September 2026

I would like to take this opportunity to warmly welcome you to our St Charles’ School Family. I hope that you and your child will come to love your time in our fantastic school as much as I enjoy working here.

To make your child’s transition into primary school as smooth as possible, we have organised a range of opportunities for us to get to know your child and their family, and for you to find out more about our school.

School will re-open on Wednesday, 3rd September 2026. To make the settling process easier, all reception children will start school on a part-time basis for the first week of school.

You can choose your preferred time of either a morning session (9:00am – 11:30am) or an afternoon session (1:00pm – 3:30pm)

Dates for your diary:

• Tuesday 16th June at 5:30pm: Parent Induction Meeting 
• W/C 22nd June: Home visits
• Tuesday, 14th July: Open Day
• Wednesday, 3rd September: School Opens
